Fostering Idaho Partnership

Stronger Together for Kids and Families

Foster care is a team effort, and in Idaho, we’re making it stronger than ever. The Fostering Idaho Partnership brings together experienced, mission-driven organizations to support children and families across the state.

Meet Our Partners

Together, we are building a strong network of care—one that values collaboration, empowerment, and the well-being of every child and family in Idaho.

Idaho Department of Health and Welfare

Idaho Department of Health and Welfare

Idaho Department of Health and Welfare – Child, Youth and Family Services (IDHW) works to ensure children grow up in safe, healthy, and permanent family environments. When families need additional support, foster care provides children with a safe and nurturing home.

Through foster care and adoption programs, IDHW supports families who open their homes to children in need of stability and lifelong connection. As a key state partner and grant provider, IDHW collaborates with regional organizations to strengthen services across Idaho.
