Community Connect

Connecting local care with real needs across Idaho

A state-led partnership initiative serving families through local collaboration — enabling organizations to respond with dignity, strengthen families, and build meaningful connections.

What is Community Connect?

Community Connect is a secure, online platform that connects Idaho families and individuals with support offered by churches, faith-based organizations, nonprofits, businesses, and community groups. Partners can see real-time needs and respond in practical, relational ways.

Secure by design

Built to support community help while respecting privacy and dignity.

Real-time needs

Partners are notified based on the categories they choose to support.

Practical, relational

Support is coordinated directly with families and individuals in the community.

How partners can help

You don’t have to do everything. Community Connect allows partners to select the specific areas where they feel called and equipped to serve.

Whether you’re a church, nonprofit, business, civic group, or community organization, you can choose the types of needs you’re willing to support and respond based on your capacity.

Household stability

Support that helps a family stay safe and stable at home, such as furniture, bedding, housewares, home maintenance, or utility assistance.

Everyday essentials

Practical items families rely on day-to-day, like clothing, diapers and wipes, hygiene items, school supplies, and car seats.

Food and basic needs

Meal support or groceries to help cover immediate needs.

Transportation and mobility

Transportation support or automotive-related assistance that helps families get to work, school, or appointments.

Financial support

Short-term help with rent or utilities, or other crisis-related financial assistance when a family needs stability fast.

Health and specialized support

Medical-related needs or other services your organization is uniquely positioned to provide.
